I staunchly advise against using Guru. I posted on the site and received a job from a seemingly legitimate professor. Working on various test documents. It turns out the files he provided contained malicious code. They couldn’t even be opened to preview…my antivirus stopped all access. I reported it. Nothing.
Guru obviously does not check the legitimacy of the project providers. This could cause freelancers technical and financial damages.
